Publishers can distribute ebooks through Seattle Book Company to our online retail network as well as sell their titles through our own retail ebook site at www.seattlebook.com. NIMAS Content Conversion Services. Rosetta Solutions is one of the few companies in the country with expertise in the creation of source files that conform to the NIMAS standard. The NIMAS standard provides the benefit of a common source file which can be adapted to develop multiple specialized formats (such as Braille or audio books) for students with print disabilities. Social Networking
Alexandria Digital Literature is an experimental social networking project centered on reading recommendations. It was created and is maintained by founder and innovator Dave Howell. Our reading recommendation software, Hypatia, is integrated into the site and serves as digital librarian and personal recommending agent. Hypatia is a reading recommendation algorithm that continues to grow in knowledge and accuracy, with more than 75,000 titles and the combined inputs of over 1.8 million reader responses.
